But this isn't just a wireless mouse, you can switch to wired if you feel the need with USB for charging. By connecting the Razer Mamba , it converts into a wired mouse – you are then freed from battery life problems as the battery is also charged when it's in it's wired mode.
The Razer Mamba also enables you to store your game profiles and macro strings on your mouse without the need for software which is very handy.
There are other gaming mice out there both wired and wireless and Logitech and Microsoft both offer up great competition but the Razer brand still seems to dominate gaming, just look at any tournament and the amount of razer's being used. If you take your gaming seriously then a top class mouse is as essential as your graphic card, if you are a part time gamer then it may be hard to justify the price tag.
Why such a high price? Razer put so much into research and development that the price has to reflect this and quality does not come cheap, the detail and attention Razer puts into their products is second to non in my opinion and for me the only question is which mouse to buy, the Naga is also a great mouse as is the Deathadder, it comes down to several factors including the games you play and the size of your hands, if you are a southpaw or not but one thing is sure Razer will make a mouse to suit you.
